Along the way, I served as CEO of two multinational subsidiaries, scaled one business from $16M to $100M, led major transformation programs, and worked closely with executive teams and boards.
Those experiences taught me something simple.
Most businesses don’t struggle because people aren’t working hard enough.
They struggle because the business has outgrown the systems, structure, and management practices supporting it.As complexity increases, more decisions flow upward. More information gets filtered. More problems require escalation.
Eventually, the owner becomes the system holding everything together.
